We stopped off the interstate in Russellville on a trail and tried the local Mexican cuisine. All Mexican restaurants are not created equal. This one is a cut above. I ordered chicken flautas and they were a perfect balance of crispy and moist. If you order a large cheese dip get ready to eat chips and dip for hours. It’s about a half a gallon of cheese dip it seems and it’s delicious. The salsa is also delicious. If you get a chance to stop in and try this place you will not be disappointed.

Oh Emmm Geeee!!! First time here. Y’all, the waiter recommended a new dish for me quesabirrias (may be misspelled) OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING. Service was top rated, SOOOOO FAST TOO!! 2.99 margarita great salsa. Highly highly recommend!!

We stopped by this Mexican restaurant in Russellville last weekend for lunch with a group of friends, and we were genuinely impressed! From the moment we sat down, we were welcomed with warm, crispy chips and a salsa that was really tasty — smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. Honestly, one of the better salsas we’ve had in a while. We went all out and tried almost everything on the menu — both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The chicken dishes were spot on, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the al pastor and chicken tacos were packed with flavor. We even tried their complete chicken dinner, which was well-prepared and satisfying. It’s clear they put effort into both taste and presentation. Portion sizes were generous, and service was quick and friendly. If you’re in Russellville and craving Mexican food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Stopped in on a road trip and it was excellent! Fast service, very cool atmosphere (every chair and booth have a different carved scene), huge menu and everything was very reasonably priced. We got the Hawaiian fajitas for two and it was a very generous portion they just need to provide about 9 or 12 tortillas instead of 6 but you can order more for only 75 cents for 3. They make the tortillas fresh on site right there where you can see which is awesome. We didn't get the margaritas since we were in a hurry but they were GIANT and looked so good. We will definitely make it back when we are in the area again.

We order through door dash. My meal was missing some stuff. I called and the owner brought me a replacement dinner within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the service.

We have been in LA Huerta many times. We love the food, the atmosphere and the service. Prices are very reasonable. If you want great food, LA Huerta in Russellville is the place@

the best Mexican restaurant ever great service and even better food anytime I come back to town for family visits I make sure to get something to eat before I come back to Memphis wish they had 1 here
